Experience the study programme live

The Abitur is coming closer by leaps and bounds and relatives are asking them more and more often: the question of future plans. In view of the seemingly infinite number of choices, some pupils are starting to panic: What should I study? How am I supposed to orient myself? Answers to these questions can be found on Thursday, March 19, from 9:00 to 13:00 hours, at the Student Info Day at the FAU Technical Faculty. The event is organized by the Departments of Electrical Engineering – Electronics – Information Technology (EEI) and Computer Science.

“Our student info day has been a real success for several years now. Pupils appreciate the opportunity to learn more about our range of courses, to experience our facilities live, and to engage in informal discussions with researchers, teachers and students,” reports Dr. Christian Brosch, Managing Director of the Department of Computer Science (INF). Dr. Markus Jonscher, his colleague from the Department of Electrical Engineering-Electronics-Information Technology (EEI), adds: “Once again this year, our chairs have prepared an exciting program for our visitors. Participants will have the opportunity to look behind the scenes and visit our laboratories and collections. On this day, we will deal with topics like ‘Virtual and Augmented Reality’, ‘Autonomous Driving’, but also ‘Radar Technology’ or ‘Solar Cells’. Read on…
