Intelligent code for paleontology and gaming idea for art history wanted

With its third Open Research Challenge, FAU is primarily addressing international young scientific talents or young teams with a penchant for big data, algorithms and gaming. They have the opportunity to solve challenges in the fields of paleontology or digital humanities – and thus contribute to research in these areas. They do not have to have studied paleontology or the humanities to do so. The platform is now open under www.openresearchchallenge.org. The winning teams will win a one-week visit to the Franconian university location Erlangen-Nuremberg to discuss the approaches to solutions with their creative minds – and get to know the region. The Challenge is open until February 1, 2021. The stay in Erlangen-Nuremberg is planned for late spring 2021 – but can be postponed or rescheduled with the winning teams, depending on the corona situation. Read more…
