Digital start-up center moves to Zollhof site
As one of the most innovative universities in Europe, FAU promotes the start-up scene in Nuremberg
FAU is one of the most innovative universities in Europe – no wonder that it is a partner of the “Zollhof – Tech Incubator” in Nuremberg, which was founded in mid-2016. The center supports founders in becoming entrepreneurially active. Until now, the “Zollhof” was located in the Kohlenhofstraße. Now it is finally living up to its name and is actually moving a few hundred meters further east to the historic Zollhof site. This will be duly celebrated at an online event on October 16, 2020 with speakers from politics and business. Prime Minister Dr. Markus Söder will give the opening speech.
Zollhof supports start-ups in areas such as the Internet of Things, Smart City or Big Data. Start-ups can rent open work space including infrastructure at low cost and also receive practical help in developing their products and services. and benefit from a broad network of companies and entrepreneurial personalities with whom ZOLLHOF cooperates.
