Digital finale of the 38th Federal Computer Science Competition

They have solved complex problems, convinced in discussions with computer science experts and proved themselves as team players – now the best young computer scientists in Germany have been selected.

The winners of the 38th German National Computer Science Competition were honored today at an event organized by FAU.

For three days, the FAU Department of Computer Science hosted the final round of the German National Computer Science Competition, which this year took place online due to corona. During this time, a total of 23 finalists demonstrated their skills. Today was a great day for the young top talents from all over Germany, more than one year after the start of the 38th Federal Computer Science Competition. They are the best of the first two rounds of the competition, in which a total of 1,462 school students took part. They had thus qualified for the final round of the talent competition organized annually by the German National Computer Science Competitions (BWINF). The final was organized by FAU this year.
