The statue of Aphrodite of Knidos is one of the most famous sculptures of antiquity. Now, thanks to Prof. Corinna Reinhardt, Chair of Classical Archaeology at FAU, there is an opportunity to experience historical works like this in three dimensions, despite the Corona pandemic. As reported by Bayerischer Rundfunk, as part of a seminar Prof. Reinhardt and her students created a digital exhibition for ancient objects that traces the history of their creation and use in three dimensions. The full BR report can be found here.
